1. Ensure correct interpretation of financials. 
2. Remove any 'surprises' from reporting. 
3. Support you in bringing in profitable new business. 
4. Focus on the actions necessary to improve profit. 
5. Ensure that cashflow requirements are predicted in advance. 
6. Help set budgets for specific periods or projects. 
7. Initiate and maintain a forecast process to aid business planning. 
8. Develop a forward looking strategy. 
9. Manage banking arrangements and demonstrate that finances are in control. 
10. Secure the right funding at the right cost. 

 

Leaving this role as a gap in your structure, or trying to fill it with the wrong individual can become false economy. The impetusFinance service means that there are no full-time fixed costs - just pertinent financial insight, hands-on support, and great advice as and when it's needed.
